KDOT Innovative Technology Program Grant
Grants up to $1 million per project for governmental and non-governmental organizations proposing projects that promote transportation safety, improve access or mobility, and implement new transportation technology across all transportation systems.

Eligibility
Governmental and non-governmental organizations. Eligible projects span all transportation systems including roadway, rail, aviation, UAS, bicycle/pedestrian, public transit, and software/technology infrastructure. Projects should not be eligible for other KDOT programs and technology must not currently exist in affected communities.
Requirements
- Must submit a Project Concept Form prior to a full application
- Overall program budget is $2 million per round; maximum $1 million per project
- Minimum 25% non-state cash match required; non-cash local matches not accepted
