About this program
Seattle's Business Community Ownership Fund supports models that help businesses and community organizations secure fixed, affordable commercial rent through shared ownership or community ownership of commercial space. The program is intended to reduce displacement risk, stabilize neighborhood-serving businesses, and create long-term commercial affordability in Seattle business districts.
Eligibility
Seattle businesses, community organizations, and ownership groups pursuing eligible community ownership or commercial affordability projects.
Requirements
- Project must be located in Seattle.
- Project must support commercial affordability or community ownership of business space.
- Applicant must work through the Office of Economic Development program process.
