About this program
The City of La Crosse uses tax incremental financing and negotiated economic development assistance to support eligible projects that advance redevelopment, job creation, private investment, infrastructure, and city economic development goals.
Eligibility
Developers, businesses, and property owners with qualifying development or redevelopment projects in eligible La Crosse tax increment districts.
Requirements
- Coordinate with City of La Crosse Economic Development staff before project commitments
- Submit project budget, financing gap, private investment, jobs, site control, and public benefit information
- Receive city review, negotiated agreement, and Common Council approval where required
