Michigan Registered Apprenticeship Program – Skilled Trades
Michigan LEO supports registered apprenticeship programs in skilled trades. Employers sponsoring construction trade apprentices can access Going PRO Talent Fund reimbursements of up to $3,500 per apprentice for training costs.

Eligibility
Michigan employers that sponsor DOL-registered apprenticeships in skilled trades, including construction trades such as electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, carpenters, and ironworkers.
Requirements
- Register apprenticeship program with U.S. Department of Labor
- Provide structured on-the-job training
- Provide or arrange related technical instruction
