Eligibility

Maryland businesses at least 51% owned and controlled by one or more socially and economically disadvantaged individuals; covers multiple protected groups including African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, Native Americans, and women.

Requirements

  • At least 51% owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individual
  • Business must be physically located in Maryland or demonstrate a nexus to Maryland
  • Apply through the MDOT Office of Minority Business Enterprise at mbe.mdot.maryland.gov
