About this program

NJBUILD Women and Minorities in Construction Trades funds eligible organizations to provide outreach, occupational skills training, pre-apprenticeship, registered apprenticeship connections, placement services, and support services for women and minority New Jersey residents entering construction trades. Eligibility

Eligible public training providers, nonprofits, labor organizations, employers, contractors, county or municipal governments, and trade organizations serving women and minority residents in construction trades pathways.

Requirements

  • Submit the NJDOL grant application with construction training plan, participant recruitment strategy, apprenticeship or employer partnerships, supportive services, budget, performance outcomes, and required state documents.
