About this program

DeKalb County received a HOME-American Rescue Plan allocation to assist residents experiencing or at risk of homelessness, fleeing unsafe conditions, or facing housing instability. The county's HOME-ARP program supports tenant-based rental assistance and supportive services in coordination with community-based organizations, the Continuum of Care, and coordinated entry. The program is intended to reduce homelessness, prevent housing loss, and improve housing stability outcomes for vulnerable residents in DeKalb County, including Decatur.

Eligibility

Eligible households, nonprofit service providers, housing partners, and community-based organizations serving qualifying DeKalb County residents may participate in HOME-ARP activities.
