About this program
The Business Security Camera Program helps Philadelphia businesses and commercial property owners install exterior surveillance cameras, with citywide reimbursement support and higher funding levels for eligible targeted commercial corridors.
Eligibility
Businesses must own the commercial property or have owner approval, be registered and licensed with the City of Philadelphia, be current on City taxes, and register installed cameras with the Philadelphia Police Department SafeCam program.
Requirements
- Provide photos of the proposed camera locations and building facade
- Provide contractor estimate or approved contractor estimate for targeted corridors
- Receive written approval before work begins
