About this program
The Power Project Fund provides loans for development, expansion, and upgrades to electric power facilities, distribution, transmission, efficiency, conservation, bulk fuel storage, and waste energy projects.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants include local utilities, local governments, and independent power producers developing qualifying Alaska power projects.
Requirements
- Submit AEA Power Project Fund application and fee
- Provide project feasibility and financial information
- Obtain legislative authorization for requests above program threshold when required
