AEF grants up to $499,999 (max 25% of project budget) for starting or expanding food businesses in Tennessee that add value to local agricultural products. Supports catering, food processing, and specialty food businesses that benefit local farmers.

Starting or expanding food businesses in Tennessee whose projects increase farm income for local farmers, enhance market access, increase business capacity, or contribute to agriculture through innovation.
Requirements
- Must be a food business in Tennessee or with project located in Tennessee
- Project must benefit local agricultural producers
- Must provide proof of financing and a business plan
