About this program
The Folk and Traditional Arts Apprenticeship Program supports mentor artists and apprentices working together to transmit folk and traditional art forms practiced in New Jersey communities. Deadline notes: Deadlines are published by the State Arts Council. Notes: Strong identity and cultural heritage fit when the apprenticeship is rooted in a community tradition.
Eligibility
Eligible New Jersey mentor artists and apprentices working in a folk or traditional art form with a clear learning plan.
Requirements
- Submit application with mentor and apprentice information, tradition description, apprenticeship plan, work samples, timeline, budget, and required signatures.
