About this program
The Job Training Incentive Program is New Mexico's signature workforce training reimbursement program for companies that create new jobs in the state. JTIP reimburses eligible businesses for a portion of classroom and on-the-job training wages and related costs, with higher reimbursement levels available in rural and frontier areas or for certain high-wage and targeted positions. Companies must apply and receive approval before hiring trainees for reimbursable positions.
Eligibility
New Mexico businesses expanding or relocating in the state and creating eligible new jobs in economic-base industries.
Requirements
- Company must be creating new jobs in New Mexico.
- Business activity must be eligible under JTIP rules.
- Applicant must apply and receive approval before hiring or training reimbursable employees.
