New Hampshire STEP provides direct funding to eligible small businesses for export development costs.
About this program
The New Hampshire Office of International Commerce administers the State Trade Expansion Program to help eligible New Hampshire small businesses enter or expand global markets. STEP can defray costs connected with exporting, including trade show participation, international marketing, website globalization or translation, market research, and other approved export development activities. The program is funded through the U.S. Small Business Administration and implemented by the New Hampshire Department of Business and Economic Affairs.

Eligible New Hampshire small businesses seeking to begin exporting or expand export sales into new international markets.
Requirements
- Business must be registered with the State of New Hampshire.
- Business must meet SBA small business eligibility requirements.
- Applicant must be new to export or expanding to new export markets.
