NBA Foundation Grant Program
Funds nonprofits supporting school-to-career and workforce development for Black youth ages 14-24 in NBA team markets.
About this program
Launched in 2020 with a 10-year, $300 million commitment from the NBA Board of Governors, the NBA Foundation invests in local and national nonprofits that promote school-to-career employment opportunities, including job readiness, skill training, job placement, and career advancement. Grants fund defined projects that equip young people with the tools, training, and opportunities they need to thrive professionally. The Foundation has awarded over $141 million to more than 300 nonprofit partners and impacted 800,000+ youth.
Eligibility
501(c)(3) nonprofits serving Black youth ages 14-24 in one of the 28 designated NBA markets, serving at least 25 youth annually.
Requirements

- Submit Form 990
- Submit current fiscal year organizational budget
