About this program
The Portland Clean Energy Community Benefits Fund Community Grants program funds community-led climate action projects such as community solar, building energy upgrades, workforce development, transportation decarbonization, green infrastructure, regenerative agriculture, and climate resilience.
Eligibility
Eligible nonprofit organizations and fiscally sponsored projects serving Portland communities, especially climate-frontline and historically underinvested communities.
Requirements
- Be registered and certified as a nonprofit with the Oregon Secretary of State or use an eligible fiscal sponsor
- Submit project narrative, budget, community benefit, climate impact, and workforce or equity plan
- Comply with PCEF grant agreement, reporting, procurement, and performance requirements
