About this program
Providence uses HOME Investment Partnerships funds to support eligible affordable housing activities, including rental housing development, rehabilitation, homeownership assistance, and preservation of affordable units for income-qualified residents.
Eligibility
Affordable housing developers, nonprofit housing organizations, CHDOs, and eligible project sponsors with qualifying Providence housing projects.
Requirements
- Apply through the city housing and community development funding process
- Provide site control, project budget, financing stack, affordability commitments, and development capacity documentation
- Comply with HOME income, affordability, environmental review, reporting, and long-term compliance requirements
