About this program
The Rooftop Activation Program supports eligible projects that improve and activate rooftop spaces in downtown Corpus Christi, helping create new hospitality, event, and commercial amenities in the TIRZ #3 area.
Eligibility
Downtown Corpus Christi property owners, developers, and businesses with eligible rooftop activation projects in TIRZ #3.
Requirements
- Discuss project eligibility with the Downtown Management District before work begins
- Submit project plans, budget, safety and code documentation, property authorization, and public benefit information
- Complete approved improvements and meet reimbursement or agreement requirements
