The Newark Home Improvement Loan Program assists income-qualified owner-occupants with repairs and improvements that address health, safety, code, accessibility, and housing preservation needs.
Eligibility
Income-qualified owner-occupants with eligible residential properties located in Newark and qualifying repair or improvement needs.
Requirements
- Apply through the City of Newark Planning and Development Department
- Provide income, ownership, occupancy, insurance, property, tax, and repair documentation
- Allow inspection and complete approved repair work under program rules
