Massachusetts Vacant Storefronts Program (MVSP) Tax Credit
Refundable tax credit incentive program that encourages businesses to occupy long-term vacant storefronts in Massachusetts downtowns and commercial areas. Municipalities receive up to $50,000 in refundable tax credits to allocate to qualifying businesses.

Eligibility
Businesses moving into storefronts that have been vacant for at least six months in a municipality that has been approved for MVSP funds through the Community One Stop for Growth. Administered through municipal applications to the Economic Assistance Coordinating Council (EACC).
Requirements
- Storefront must have been vacant for at least six months
- Must be located in a municipality approved for MVSP tax credit allocation
- Municipality must apply through Community One Stop for Growth
