About this program
Hartford uses Emergency Solutions Grants to assist people experiencing or at risk of homelessness through shelter operations, essential services, street outreach, homelessness prevention, rapid rehousing, and related administration.
Eligibility
Eligible homeless service providers, nonprofits, and public partners serving Hartford residents and meeting HUD ESG requirements.
Requirements
- Apply through city federal grants process when funds are available
- Document eligible services, clients, budget, HMIS capacity, and program standards
- Comply with HUD ESG written standards, reporting, financial, and monitoring requirements
