About this program
New Haven lead hazard and healthy homes programs help eligible homeowners, landlords, and families address lead paint hazards and health or safety issues in older residential properties, especially where young children are at risk.
Eligibility
Eligible New Haven residential property owners, tenants, and households meeting income, occupancy, child, property, and lead hazard requirements.
Requirements
- Complete program intake with the Livable City Initiative or housing partner
- Provide ownership, income, tenancy, child age, property, insurance, and lead documentation
- Complete inspection and approved remediation or repair work under program rules
