About this program
Sponsored by the FedEx Founders' Fund, the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis, and USAA Small Business Insurance, this program awards five one-time grants annually to outstanding veteran- and military-spouse-owned small businesses. Four winners receive $10,000 and one grand prize winner receives $25,000. Applications typically open in late winter, with winners announced each spring at an in-person event.
Eligibility
For-profit business at least 51% owned by a veteran or military spouse; between 3 and 20 employees; under $5 million in annual revenue; must demonstrate financial need or be located in an economically distressed area.
