CDBG Economic Development grants up to $750,000 for infrastructure improvements assisting for-profit businesses, including green economy and clean energy companies. Functions as a forgivable loan (25% forgiven if completed on time).

Eligibility
For-profit businesses or agricultural cooperatives needing infrastructure improvements. Local government applies on behalf of the business. At least 51% of jobs created or retained must benefit low-to-moderate income persons.
Requirements
- Local unit of government must apply on behalf of the for-profit business
- At least 51% of jobs created or retained must be LMI
- Maximum benefit of $750,000
