About this program

The City of Little Rock administers Community Development Block Grant entitlement funds from HUD to improve quality of life for residents through housing and community development activities. Eligible activities must benefit low- and moderate-income persons, eliminate slum or blight, meet urgent needs, and fit HUD-eligible uses such as public facilities, infrastructure, public services, housing rehabilitation, and certain economic development activities.

Eligibility

Eligible nonprofits, public agencies, community organizations, and qualified project sponsors serving Little Rock residents or neighborhoods may seek CDBG funding through the City's planning and allocation process.

Requirements

  • Project must serve Little Rock residents or neighborhoods.
  • Activity must meet a HUD CDBG national objective.
  • Applicant must be an eligible organization or implementing partner under CDBG rules.
