State income tax credit of up to 10% of eligible costs (not exceeding $6,000) for the purchase and installation of solar energy systems on residences, businesses, and agricultural enterprises in New Mexico.

Businesses and agricultural enterprises in New Mexico that purchase and install an operating solar energy system. Requires obtaining a certificate of eligibility from EMNRD.
Requirements

- Obtain required documents from installation contractor
- Apply for tax credit certificate with EMNRD
