About this program
DeKalb County uses HOME funds to support affordable housing activities such as development, rehabilitation, homebuyer assistance, and related housing services for low-income households.
Eligibility
Eligible nonprofit housing providers, developers, public agencies, and project partners serving DeKalb County households, including Decatur-area projects where eligible.
Requirements
- Apply through the DeKalb County community development process
- Document eligible HOME activity, affordability period, budget, site control, and income targeting
- Meet HUD HOME property, income, rent, and compliance standards
