About this program
San Jose Storefronts Initiative supports local commercial district vitality by helping entrepreneurs and businesses activate storefronts, connect to permitting and leasing resources, and strengthen neighborhood business corridors.
Eligibility
San Jose small businesses, entrepreneurs, property owners, and commercial corridor partners participating in eligible storefront activation or business district efforts.
Requirements
- Coordinate with San Jose economic development or Business Owner Space partners
- Provide business, site, lease, or corridor activation information
- Meet program-specific eligibility, permitting, and reporting requirements
