About this program

The NHL Foundation U.S. backs initiatives and programs designed to tackle health-related obstacles that hinder the academic and recreational achievements of individuals aged 18 and under. The Foundation funds nutrition education, mental health resources, anti-bullying efforts, and programs aimed at eradicating food scarcity. It also supports workforce development and education programs designed to prepare individuals for promising careers within the sports industry.

Eligibility

Nonprofit organizations serving youth under 18 in the United States working in priority areas of health, wellness, community building, or sports industry career development.

Requirements

  • Be a 501(c)(3) organization
  • Serve youth aged 18 and under or sports industry workforce
  • Align with one of the Foundation's pillars: nutrition/food security, mental health, anti-bullying, or sports career development
