SBA 8(a) Business Development Program – Massachusetts Wampanoag Tribal Members
Federal program providing nine years of contracting assistance, training, and technical support for socially and economically disadvantaged small businesses; enrolled members of Massachusetts's two federally recognized Wampanoag tribes satisfy the social disadvantage narrative requirement via tribal enrollment; tribal enterprise entities also eligible with additional sole-source contracting benefits.

Eligibility
Small businesses at least 51% owned by enrolled members of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe or the Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head/Aquinnah; tribal enrollment satisfies the social disadvantage requirement; must also demonstrate economic disadvantage and qualify as a small business under SBA size standards.
Requirements
- At least 51% owned and controlled by an enrolled Wampanoag tribal member or other AI/AN individual
- Enrolled in the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe or Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head/Aquinnah
- Qualify as a small business under SBA size standards
