About this program
The Automation Training Incentive Program provides grants to small businesses for training existing workers on new automation technology in manufacturing or skilled production settings.
Eligibility
Existing Minnesota small businesses in manufacturing or skilled production located in Greater Minnesota or designated eligible cities and investing in new automation technology.
Requirements
- Apply to DEED with a formal training proposal
- Train existing full-time workers on new automation technology
- Document training costs, wages, automation investment, and program match requirements
