About this program
The Statewide Respite Care Program provides short-term or periodic relief to family and informal caregivers caring for functionally impaired adults, including older adults, so care recipients can remain in the community. Deadline notes: Applications are generally handled through county Aging and Disability Resource Connection offices. Notes: Caregiver support program with strong older-adult relevance.
Eligibility
New Jersey caregivers caring for functionally impaired adults who meet program income, residency, and care-need requirements.
Requirements
- Contact the county ADRC for assessment and provide household, caregiver, age or disability, income, and care-need documentation.
