Eligibility
Farmers, nonprofits, and organizations in Illinois working to expand access to fresh, locally grown produce and strengthen specialty crop competitiveness. Priority given to beginning farmers, educational programs, nutrition/health connections, and sustainability projects.
Requirements
- Must focus on specialty crops
- Projects must benefit beginning farmers or first-time specialty crop producers, OR provide educational programming, OR connect specialty crops with nutrition and health, OR prioritize sustainability
- Applications due by noon, June 5, 2026
