About this program
USDA Value-Added Producer Grants help agricultural producers generate new products, create and expand marketing opportunities, and increase producer income. Producers and producer-based businesses in the Bellevue region may use planning or working capital grants for eligible value-added agriculture projects.
Eligibility
Independent agricultural producers, producer groups, farmer or rancher cooperatives, and majority-controlled producer-based businesses.
Requirements
- Submit planning or working capital application with project narrative, budget, match, and producer eligibility documents
- Demonstrate value-added agricultural product and market opportunity
- Comply with federal grant, matching, reporting, and eligible cost requirements
