The California Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Project (CALeVIP) is administered by the California Energy Commission and CALSTART. CALeVIP offers rebates of $4,000-$200,000+ per EV charger (varying by charger type, location, and project type) to businesses, property owners, and government entities installing publicly accessible Level 2 and DC fast chargers in California. Higher rebates apply for chargers in low-income and disadvantaged communities and at multi-unit dwellings.
Eligibility
California-based businesses, multi-family property owners, public agencies, tribes, and nonprofits installing eligible Level 2 or DC fast charging stations at qualifying sites. Eligibility varies by sub-program and region.
