About this program
The Hawaii State Small Business Credit Initiative Loan Participation Program supports eligible small businesses by allowing the state to participate in a portion of a loan made by a participating lender. The structure reduces lender risk and helps businesses obtain financing for eligible purposes such as working capital, equipment, inventory, construction, startup, expansion, and business acquisition. The program is administered by the Hawaii Technology Development Corporation under the state's SSBCI allocation.
Eligibility
Eligible Hawaii small businesses working with a participating lender may use the program to support qualifying business loans.
