ACCES-VR Readers Aid Program
Financial assistance for eligible New York college students with disabilities who need reader or note-taking support.
About this program
The Readers Aid Program provides financial assistance to eligible college students with disabilities in New York for reader, note-taker, or related access services needed for postsecondary education.
Eligibility
Eligible students with disabilities who are matriculated or pursuing a certificate program at a New York State higher education institution approved by the Board of Regents and meet Readers Aid Program criteria.
Requirements
- Students must submit the Readers Aid Program application with disability documentation, school enrollment information, service need, and required ACCES-VR forms.
