The City of Tucson Housing and Community Development Department issues competitive requests for proposals for Project-Based Voucher allocations that support new construction and substantial rehabilitation of affordable rental housing.
Eligibility
Property owners and affordable housing developers proposing eligible Tucson new construction or substantial rehabilitation projects that meet Housing Choice Voucher and city evaluation criteria.
Requirements
- Submit project proposal during PBV RFP cycle
- Provide project design, site, owner experience, management experience, financial feasibility, and readiness documentation
- Accept voucher contract and long-term compliance obligations
