KEDFA-Equivalent: LED Diversification Incentive – Enterprise Zone Program (Manufacturing)
Louisiana Enterprise Zone (EZ) program provides a one-time $3,500 job tax credit per net new job, a 1.5% rebate on capital expenditures (or a state sales/use tax rebate), and an investment tax credit for manufacturers locating or expanding in a state-designated Enterprise Zone; at least 35% of new hires must be from qualifying groups (residents of enterprise zones, receiving public assistance, lacking high school diploma, or considered unemployable); manufacturing in enterprise zones frequently qualifies.

Eligibility
Manufacturers locating or expanding in a Louisiana-designated Enterprise Zone; at least 35% of net new employees must be from qualifying categories; must create a minimum of 5 net new permanent jobs (or 35% of new hires from qualifying groups); apply via FastLane NextGen before project begins.
