About this program
Frederick County Office of Economic Development partnered with Maryland DHCD and Latino Economic Development Center to offer the EmPOWER Loan Program. The program provides fixed-interest loans up to $10,000 to EmPOWER Mentorship graduates in good standing with the State of Maryland, helping micro-businesses build commercial credit history.
Eligibility
Frederick County micro-businesses whose owners have completed EmPOWER Mentorship and are in good standing with the State of Maryland.
Requirements
- Complete EmPOWER Mentorship and maintain good standing with Maryland
- Apply through LEDC applicant portal
- Provide business, financial, and use-of-funds documentation
