New Orleans City Council grant fund awarding up to $100,000 (or 50% of annual operating budget) to Orleans Parish nonprofits contributing to community recreation; $7M allocated in the 2025 cycle; application portal opened July 7, 2025 and closed August 1, 2025; sports and recreation organizations meeting the community well-being mission are eligible; administered by the Greater New Orleans Foundation; annual cycle expected.

Eligibility
Tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations with a registered headquarters or permanent physical location in Orleans Parish; in existence at least 3 years; in good standing with the IRS; must demonstrate contribution to well-being, development, and growth of the New Orleans community through recreation and/or sports programming.
