Maine Indian Tribal-State Commission (MITSC) – Economic Development Support
The MITSC is a bicameral state-tribal commission created by the Maine Indian Claims Settlement Act that works on matters of mutual concern to the state and Maine's four Wabanaki tribes; serves as a resource and referral body for tribal economic development, connects Native entrepreneurs to state programs, and advocates for tribal business interests; connects Maine tribal members to state-level economic development resources.

Eligibility
Members of Maine's four Wabanaki tribes (Penobscot, Passamaquoddy, Houlton Band of Maliseet, and Aroostook Band of Micmacs) and tribal governments seeking navigation of state programs, economic development resources, and policy support.
