Job Growth Incentive Tax Credit
Performance-based state income tax credit for businesses creating net new jobs in Colorado that would not occur without the incentive. Calculated as 50% of FICA paid by the business on net new job growth for 8 years.
About this program
Highly competitive and complex. Best suited for medium-large primary employers. Approved by Colorado Economic Development Commission. Location Neutral Employment (LONE) variant available for remote rural jobs in eligible counties.
Eligibility
Colorado businesses considering competitive expansion or relocation projects that will create at least 20 net new full-time jobs (5 in enhanced rural areas) at average annual wage at or above county average. Must demonstrate Colorado is competing with another state.
