About this program
The Community Advantage Small Business Lending Company (CA SBLC) program provides 7(a) loans up to $350,000 from mission-driven lenders such as CDFIs, microlenders, and Certified Development Companies that focus on underserved markets. These lenders work specifically with minority-owned, women-owned, veteran-owned, and rural businesses that may not qualify with conventional banks. Loan proceeds can be used for working capital, equipment, real estate, inventory, and business acquisition.
Eligibility
Small businesses meeting SBA size standards, with priority for businesses in underserved markets including minority-owned businesses, low-to-moderate income areas, and rural communities.
Requirements
- Find a Community Advantage SBLC lender (CDFI or mission-based lender)
- Submit business plan and personal/business financials
- Demonstrate ability to repay loan
