USDA Meat and Poultry Processing Expansion Program (MPPEP)

USDA grants up to $25 million to help meat and poultry processors expand capacity and strengthen rural supply chains.

About this program

The Meat and Poultry Processing Expansion Program provides grants to help meat and poultry processors expand processing capacity, encouraging competition and sustainable growth in the U.S. meat processing sector. Funds can be used for construction, equipment, technology upgrades, workforce training, and operational improvements.
