Eligibility
Eligible account owners are people with qualifying disabilities who meet ABLE eligibility rules and need a way to save for qualified disability expenses without losing certain federal benefits.
Requirements
- Meet ABLE disability eligibility rules.
- Open an RI's ABLE account or have an authorized person open one on the account owner's behalf.
- Use account funds only for qualified disability expenses.
