Louisiana Enterprise Zone Program — Tax Credit
Provides Louisiana income and franchise tax credits of $1,000 or $3,500 per net new job and a sales tax rebate or investment tax credit for retail businesses creating new full-time jobs in designated zones.

Eligibility
New or existing Louisiana businesses located in or near an Enterprise Zone that create permanent net new full-time jobs and hire at least 50% from targeted groups.
Requirements
- Must create a minimum of 5 net new full-time jobs within 24 months, or increase workforce by 10% within 12 months
- At least 50% of new hires must come from targeted groups (Enterprise Zone residents, public assistance recipients, individuals lacking basic skills, or traditionally unemployable individuals)
- Must be located in Louisiana
