The Minnesota Forward Fund serves as a closing and matching fund to support business attraction, retention, expansion, and federal match needs for projects that create or retain high-quality jobs and make significant capital investments in Minnesota.
Eligibility
Eligible businesses, communities, and higher education institutions supporting large private capital investment, new or existing industries, property development, or federal funding match projects.
Requirements
- Coordinate with DEED before project commitments
- Submit capital investment, jobs, wages, federal match, budget, and economic impact information
- Meet private investment, job quality, competitiveness, and reporting requirements
