About this program
The Original Aurora Commercial Renovation Grant Program supports private investment in commercial buildings by reimbursing eligible exterior, interior, code, life-safety, signage, and tenant improvements that strengthen the Original Aurora business district.
Eligibility
Commercial property owners or tenants with owner permission located in the Original Aurora urban renewal area and proposing eligible renovation work.
Requirements
- Contact Aurora economic development staff before beginning work
- Submit application, project scope, photos, cost estimates, ownership or lease documentation, and permits if required
- Complete approved improvements and submit paid invoices before reimbursement
