About this program
Avenues of Hope is Pittsburgh’s place-based initiative to invest in historically important Black main streets and neighborhood commercial corridors. URA tools can support commercial property investment, corridor revitalization, small business growth, and equitable development in designated corridors.
Eligibility
Eligible businesses, developers, property owners, and community partners with projects in designated Avenues of Hope corridors.
Requirements
- Verify project location in an Avenues of Hope corridor
- Coordinate with URA before applying
- Provide development scope, budget, financing plan, community benefit, and ownership documentation
