New Jersey Specialty Crop Block Grant Program
Grants for projects that strengthen New Jersey specialty crop producers and markets.
About this program
The Specialty Crop Block Grant Program funds projects that enhance the competitiveness of specialty crops in New Jersey, including fruits, vegetables, tree nuts, nursery crops, floriculture, and related producer-support initiatives. Deadline notes: Annual request-for-proposal deadlines are announced by NJDA. Notes: Project must benefit specialty crop competitiveness broadly, not only one farm or business.
Eligibility
Eligible agricultural organizations, nonprofits, local governments, academic institutions, and other entities proposing projects that benefit New Jersey specialty crop industries rather than a single private business.
Requirements
- Submit the NJDA proposal with project narrative, budget, specialty crop benefit, work plan, outcomes, performance measures, and required state and federal forms.
